Mister Rogers talks about walking on the beach on a windy day. Mr. McFeely delivers Audrey Cleans Everything’s cleaning equipment to Mister Rogers.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine is unable to remove some purple residue from Grandpere’s sign with magic. Elsie Jean suggests using soap and water. This works. Lady Elaine is sorry for the mess she made and apologizes to Grandpere. He gives her some french fries. Back with Mister Rogers, Audrey Cleans Everything cleans Mister Rogers’ house. He helps her mop, then he talks about growing up and having a business.
Mister Rogers talks about dancing and shows ballet shoes.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday sends Mr. McFeely to get a list of things to prepare for the visiting water skiers. Although Mr. McFeely is very tired, he delivers 75 towels to the castle. Afterwards he falls asleep. King Friday calls for him, but Mr. McFeely doesn’t hear him. Back with Mister Rogers, he says that King Friday asked Mr. McFeely to do too many things. He goes to visit Joe Negri and plays with a frog puppet. Mister Rogers watches ballet dancers exercise and tries to exercise with them. While the dancers are changing into costume, Mister Rogers demonstrates a musical triangle. The dancers perform part of a ballet.
Mister Rogers shows the difference between a fork and a spoon. Mrs. McFeely brings over some books to show Mister Rogers. The pictures in them are hidden. Mister Rogers puts a fork and spoon in his sand table and has Mrs. McFeely close her eyes and feel for them.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri is making deliveries for King Friday because Mr. McFeely can’t be found. Mrs. McFeely can’t find Mr. McFeely either. She and Handyman Negri find him asleep and awaken him. When King Friday reprimands him for sleeping on the job, Mr. McFeely tells the king he was tired from working too much. The king sends Mr. McFeely to find a pool of water for his waterskiing demonstration. Lady Elaine helps Mr. McFeely by using her Boomerang-Toomerang-Soomerang to make a picture of a lake into a video screen. However, Lady Elaine makes the skiers go backwards. Mister Rogers says that the Boomerang-Toomerang-Soomerang works only in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. He plays with a miniature trolley in his sand table. He shows that even though he covers it up, the trolley still exists.
Mr. and Mrs. McFeely bring two African lion cubs to visit Mister Rogers. Mister Rogers plays with plastic jungle animals.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Queen Sara takes Prince Tuesday into the castle to feed him. Lady Aberlin asks Handyman Negri if she can help him with his work. Lady Aberlin repairs X’s writing table. Handyman Negri fixes Daniel’s squeaky door. Daniel asks him if he was little once, too. Lady Aberlin tells Daniel that it takes time to grow. Back with Mister Rogers, he exercises with Marilyn Barnett.
Mister Rogers demonstrates how an artist’s model doll is used. He explains that unlike the doll that bends, because it’s in pieces, people grow in one piece. Elsie Neal visits and makes a person out of clay, and Mister Rogers makes a horse for the person to ride.In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri and Lady Aberlin skip around in a horse costume. They invite Henrietta to come for a ride, but she has plans to meet X to play baseball. X reluctantly agrees to meet Henrietta at the field after her ride. At first, X is unsure about how he feels about being alone, but then feels more confortable. The others arrive and play catch with X. Deborah Stampo stops by to show Mister Rogers the equipment she’s taking camping.
